The case: a product launch cover

Suppose you need an announcement cover with one main object, room for a headline and a defined palette. Set the format, publication channel, mood and elements that must remain consistent. Avoid changing the model, scene and requirements together.

A chat model’s presence in Colay does not establish access to that provider’s image generator. Check whether your chosen agent has a generation tool. If it does not, use an available image generator separately.

A brief for a fair comparison

“Prepare a visual brief for a [product] cover, audience [description], aspect ratio [ratio]. Main subject: [object]. Place it on the right, leaving clear headline space on the left. Palette: [colors]. Mood: [description]. No lettering or logos. Provide one main prompt and an evaluation checklist.”

Ask different agents to review the brief for composition and audience fit. Once refined, use the same underlying requirements in the image generators available to you.

Choose against criteria

• Does the result follow the brief and required aspect ratio?
• Is there clear headline space and usable contrast?
• Are geometry, details and unwanted lettering acceptable?
• Do the selected generator’s usage terms fit your intended project?

Refine one variable at a time

Keep the prompt, generator and settings with each result. Change only the element blocking the intended use: background, viewpoint, object count or lighting. Compare several results without calling a generator universally better from one attempt.
